2007 Sauvignon Blanc - Sonoma Mountain
Tasting Notes
Summertime in a bottle, this wine is a soft pale gold in
color with beautiful clarity. The lively nose - a delightful
combination of kiwi, apple, and grapefruit, plus a hint of
grass - jumps from the glass. The minerality and lineal
acidity of this special wine, lends to its stone-smooth
mouth feel and lingering finish. From brunch to dinner,
fruit to fish, this is a wonderful wine! Drink now – 2010.
Winemaker's Notes
Just before October the Sonoma Mountain fruit was ready for
harvest. These vineyards are ideally located within the
Sonoma Mt. Appellation where the unique hillside terroir
and eastern exposure combine - a perfect balance with cool
evenings and warm, morning sun - naturally reflected in
these grapes. The wine began fermentation in stainless
steel, aged in 20% neutral oak, and bottled late January.
